Escape to the East
On Sunday 16th January the club met up for a drive to the east and a picnic at the beach. The trip started in Pakuranga, and there was a great turn out of club members and their Morris Minors. Despite Tsunami warnings and an approaching cyclone, we had great weather and a lovely drive out past Beachlands and Maraetai, then across to Kawakawa bay. It was great to get out for a drive and an outdoors picnic after all the lock downs and restrictions!
