Meguiar’s Coffee & Cars – MM Club Hosting

On the 3rd May, the Auckland Morris Minor Car Club was the “host” club for the Meguiar’s Coffee & Cars meetup at Auckland Showgrounds. What this means is that we had to show up at 7 am and help to marshal traffic as cars arrived.

It was the last event of the season, and the weather turned out to be pretty nice. We had a great turnout of club members to help (and display their cars). This was lucky because the event was very popular, and there was traffic and parking chaos! They expected up to 1000 cars, but had to close the gates after more than 1500 had crammed in.

Despite the early start (the cafe wasn’t even open for coffee yet!) it was a fun day, with heaps of interesting cars and something for every type of car enthusiast. Thanks everyone for helping out!
